Scout LeaderScouting prides itself on the training of it's volunteers. And at 1st Lower Templestowe we are lucky to not only have well trained leaders, but also leaders with a wealth of experience. Each of our youth section leaders has over 10 years experience in scouting. In fact some of them have never left the group since being youth members themselves.
As such 1st Lower Templestowe can offer a superior scouting programme that will instil self belief, confidence, community and leadership qualities in the youth under their supervision. Simply put, we are in the business of nurturing the leaders of tomorrow.
I invite you to come on down to the hall to experience the 1st Lower Templestowe hospitality. We welcome everybody, and I am really proud that we host a group with members from such diverse backgrounds. It makes for the best 'Pot Luck' dinner going!.

Friendly enthusiastic and well trained Leaders offer quality programs with interaction and personal development being paramount. Scouting is all about 'learning by doing', but there is also a lot of fun involved. Programs are tailored to the age groups and as they progress through the sections independence and self reliance are learned through the Patrol system.
